COVID-19 Safe School Operational Reentry Planning – Webinar

Originally aired: Wednesday, May 6, 2020

This free webinar is designed for PreK-12 superintendents, assistant superintendents, heads of private schools, operational and support services department heads (facilities, transportation, food services, safety and security, health services, student services, communications and community relations, etc.), principals and assistant principals, school-based police and security officials, school board members, and related PreK-12 reentry team planners.*

Many school administrators and their teams are struggling day-to-day to keep crisis online learning operations afloat while navigating ever-changing future predictions.  While we applaud their valiant commitment, planning for today will not be enough. School leaders must begin planning and preparations now for the eventual return of children and educators to their schoolhouses.

Veteran National School Safety and Security Services’ school safety and emergency preparedness experts, Ken Trump and Chuck Hibbert (speaker bios below), discuss leadership, communication, relationship, and operational planning issues related to COVID-19 safe school reentry planning.

The social, emotional, physical, and educational well-being of students and staff on their first day of return to school will best be determined by the success of school leaders’ planning today.
